FORWARD YOUR FAX NUMBER TO EMRFaxBox

IMPORTANT: If you opted to PORT your number to EMRFaxBox, keep in mind this process could take up to 2-3 weeks. To receive faxes to your EMRFaxBox during this period, after you confirm your device is connected and working correctly, forward your existing fax line using one of the following two methods using the temporary fax number located on the Device Configuration Page shipped with your device:

EITHER:

1) Call YOUR OLD FAX PROVIDER
Request from your provider to please permanently forward all calls for (xxx) xxx-xxxx (your fax number) to (xxx) xxx-xxxx (you temporary fax number with FaxBox).

or

2) Manual forward from fax machine (EASIER)
Go to your fax machine and dial "*72", wait a second, then enter "xxx-xxx-xxxx" (your temporary FAXBOX number. If you hear a confirmation tone then, it probably worked. Send a test fax to the line to confirm if you received the fax in eCW.

* If you heard a busy tone or get a fail message and you've confirmed you followed the steps, then your line is probably not enabled for forwarding and you will need to call YOUR OLD FAX PROVIDER to activate.
